It was all a dream...
Tell Me How You Really Feel was born from raw, unfiltered conversations between two best friends and therapists, Stephanie and Ashley—but their friendship didn’t start instantly. They met through work, keeping things professional at first, but over time, they bonded through shared experiences, dark humor, and the unspoken understanding that comes from navigating family drama, relationship trauma, and the lingering effects of past experiences.
What started as casual venting sessions turned into deep (and sometimes ridiculous) discussions that helped them process their own chaos. Realizing that these conversations were both therapeutic and hilarious, they decided to hit record—bringing their unique blend of expertise, real talk, and self-deprecating humor to the world.
Now, Tell Me How You Really Feel is a space where no topic is off-limits. From the complexities of mental health and relationships to the messiness of everyday life, Stephanie and Ashley break it all down while making fun of themselves (and each other) along the way.

In this episode of Tell Me How You Really Feel, Ashley and Steph dive into Psychosocial Development—aka, how our personal needs collide with society’s expectations. Tune in for relationship insights, unfiltered laughs, and a little bit of therapy—whether you asked for it or not.
Ever wonder why music just hits different? Why certain songs make you cry, dance, or transport you back to a memory you swore you forgot? Turns out, there's a whole biopsychosocial explanation for why we, as humans, are wired to love music and actively participate in it. In this episode of Tell Me How You Really Feel, Ashley and Steph break down the science behind our deep connection to music—how it affects our brains, emotions, and even our social bonds. Plus, you know we couldn’t leave you without another round of tales from the crypt—because what’s an episode without a little chaos? Join us for a fun, insightful, and slightly off-the-rails conversation that’ll have you looking at your playlist in a whole new way.

In this episode of Tell Me How You Really Feel, Ashley and Steph unpack the concept of the Alpha Female—how it’s perceived, what it actually looks like in real life, and whether society celebrates or punishes women who take charge.
